NBAers Iverson and Wallace Cut House Prices

September 5 -- Two NBA stars who listed their houses last year have drastically cut their asking prices -- Allen Iverson, of the Denver Nuggets, by 37% in Philadelphia, PA, and Detroit Pistons' Rasheed Wallace by 6% in Portland, OR.

Iverson put his house on the market after the Philadelphia 76ers traded him in 2006. The six-bedroom, 14,000-square-foot house is in Villanova, about 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia. It has four floors, arched Palladian windows, a movie theater, a guest suite, and a poolhouse.

The house was purchased in 2003 for $5 million and originally listed for $6.3 million. Now the asking price is $4 million.

Wallace has lowered the price of his Portland home to $4.9 million from $5.2 million. The 1924 brick house, which sits on more than two acres, was purchased for about $3 million in 2000. The Tudor-style home has five bedrooms, five baths and a built-in saltwater fish tank.
