Kobe Leads Lakers Over Kings

Los Angeles Lakers all-star guard Kobe Bryant scored 17 of his 34 points in a magnificent 4th quarter performance. Center Pau Gasol chipped in with 31 points in the team's 12th win in 13 games, by a score of 117-105 over the Sacramento Kings on Feb. 4.

Bryant scored every one of his final-quarter points in the last 6 minutes, including 11 straight points as the Lakers took their first lead in the game highlighted by a 360-degree two-handed dunk. Forward Lamar Odom helped out with 19 points and 12 rebounds

Kings guards Kevin Martin and Ron Artest scored 23 points each, and forward Brad Miller added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The game between the long-time rivals was a chippy one, featuring hard fouls and technicals. The Kings are now 0-8 against Pacific Division opponents.
