Vogue Magazine to Feature LeBron James on Cover

March 14 - Cleveland Cavaliers superstar guard LeBron James will be featured on the April cover of Vogue magazine. He will be only the third male to do so in the periodical's 116-year history, after actors Richard Gere and George Clooney.

James will appear with one arm wrapped around NFL Tom Brady's main squeeze, Gisele Bundschen and wearing a tank top, shorts and sneakers from his signature Nike clothing line. He is captured in the picture dribbling a basketball as if in game mode. The magazine will showcase athletes and models in their annual issue devoted to size and shape.

Appearing on magazine covers is hardly a new development for James, who was first featured on Sports Illustrated in 2002 as a 17-year-old high school junior, in which he was labeled "The Chosen One.'' As his national profile and visibility have broadened, James has recently been showcased on non-sports periodical covers such as Black Enterprise, Fortune and Men's Health.
