NBA Vet Jerry 'Ice' Reynolds is New ABA Head Coach
July 24 -- The Jersey Express of the new American Basketball Association (ABA) announced that former NBA 1st round draft pick Jerry "Ice" Reynolds has accepted the position of Head Coach for the 2008-2009 season. Reynolds was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 1985.
After leaving the Bucks, Reynolds played for the Seattle Supersonics and Orlando Magic. He was an influential veteran presence in the Orlando locker room for then-rookie Shaquille O'Neal, before departing to play several seasons oversees. Prior to joining the Jersey Express, Reynolds was an Assistant coach at Weber International College.
